GrabThatVideo turns any public Pinterest pin, Instagram Reel, Facebook video or X (Twitter) post into a standard MP4 file you can keep. There is nothing to install and nothing to sign up for — copy the link, paste it, and save.
Every download is processed on our own servers, so audio and video are merged properly and the file plays on iPhone, Android, Windows and Mac without extra apps. When a platform offers more than one resolution, you choose which one you want.
| Platform | What works |
|---|---|
| Video pins, Idea Pins, pin.it short links | |
| Reels, video posts, carousel videos | |
| Videos, Reels, fb.watch and share links | |
| X (Twitter) | Videos and GIFs in public posts, x.com and twitter.com links |
| Videos in public posts, lnkd.in short links |
Most failed downloads come from one of these five reasons.
| Message you see | Why it happens | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| “This video is private or needs a login” | The post is from a private account, a closed group, a Story or a Close Friends list. | Only public posts can be downloaded. Try a public post. |
| “No video found” | The link points to a photo post or an image pin, not a video. | Open a post with a play button and copy that post's link. |
| “Deleted or unavailable” | The post was removed, is blocked in some regions, or the link was cut off. | Copy the link again from the post's Share menu. |
| “Busy right now” | Many people are downloading at the same moment. | Wait one minute and try again. |
| Nothing appears in Photos (iPhone) | Safari saves downloads to the Files app, not Photos. | Open Files → Downloads, tap the video, then Share → Save Video. |

GrabThatVideo is a free web tool that saves public videos from Pinterest, Instagram, Facebook, X (Twitter) and LinkedIn as MP4 files, with no app and no sign-up. It was built by Vipul Chaudhary, a marketer based in Bangalore, India, who wanted a downloader without clutter or pop-ups.
GrabThatVideo fetches videos with the open-source yt-dlp engine, which is updated on our server every day so downloads keep working when the platforms change their sites. Every file is merged into a standard MP4 (usually H.264 video with AAC audio), so it plays on iPhone, Android, Windows and Mac without extra apps.
GrabThatVideo keeps each prepared file on its server only until you save it and deletes it automatically after 30 minutes. It does not keep a list of the links you paste and does not require an account.
Shortcut: add ?url= and a video link to the end of this page's address — for example grabthatvideo.com/?url=https://pin.it/abc123 — and GrabThatVideo fetches the video as soon as the page opens.

Yes. The site works in any mobile browser. On iPhone, the video saves to the Files app (Downloads); from there tap Share → Save Video to move it into Photos.
The highest quality the platform makes available — often 720p or 1080p. If several resolutions exist, you can pick one.
The most common reasons are a private or deleted post, a photo post with no video, or a link copied from a profile instead of a single post. Open the post itself, copy its link, and try again.

GrabThatVideo runs in your browser, so there is no app or extension to install and no account to create. The file you receive is a plain MP4 video, not a program.
No. GrabThatVideo only works with public posts. If a video is private, in a closed group, or needs a login to watch, it can't be downloaded.
