Free · No sign-up · Public videos only · Updated October 2026
How do I download a LinkedIn video?
Three steps, about ten seconds.
Copy the post link
On LinkedIn tap ••• (or Share) on the post → Copy link to post.
Paste & fetch
Paste it above. Links from the app and lnkd.in short links work.
Save the MP4
Press Download and the video saves with sound.
How do you download a video from LinkedIn?
LinkedIn has no download button for videos in posts. GrabThatVideo reads the public post, finds the video file LinkedIn plays, and gives it back as an MP4 with sound in the best quality LinkedIn offers.
It works for videos in public posts from people and company pages. Posts only visible to connections, LinkedIn Learning courses and live streams can't be downloaded.
Which LinkedIn links work?
| Link type | What it is |
|---|---|
linkedin.com/posts/… | Public posts with a video |
linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:… | Post links copied from the feed |
lnkd.in/… | Short links |
Why isn't my video downloading?
Most failed downloads come from one of these five reasons.
| Message you see | Why it happens | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| “This video is private or needs a login” | The post is from a private account, a closed group, a Story or a Close Friends list. | Only public posts can be downloaded. Try a public post. |
| “No video found” | The link points to a photo post or an image pin, not a video. | Open a post with a play button and copy that post's link. |
| “Deleted or unavailable” | The post was removed, is blocked in some regions, or the link was cut off. | Copy the link again from the post's Share menu. |
| “Busy right now” | Many people are downloading at the same moment. | Wait one minute and try again. |
| Nothing appears in Photos (iPhone) | Safari saves downloads to the Files app, not Photos. | Open Files → Downloads, tap the video, then Share → Save Video. |

Who runs GrabThatVideo?
GrabThatVideo is a free web tool that saves public videos from Pinterest, Instagram, Facebook, X (Twitter) and LinkedIn as MP4 files, with no app and no sign-up. It was built by Vipul Chaudhary, a marketer based in Bangalore, India, who wanted a downloader without clutter or pop-ups.
GrabThatVideo fetches videos with the open-source yt-dlp engine, which is updated on our server every day so downloads keep working when the platforms change their sites. Every file is merged into a standard MP4 (usually H.264 video with AAC audio), so it plays on iPhone, Android, Windows and Mac without extra apps.
GrabThatVideo keeps each prepared file on its server only until you save it and deletes it automatically after 30 minutes. It does not keep a list of the links you paste and does not require an account.
Shortcut: add ?url= and a video link to the end of this page's address — for example grabthatvideo.com/?url=https://pin.it/abc123 — and GrabThatVideo fetches the video as soon as the page opens.

Frequently asked questions
How do I download a LinkedIn video?
Open the post, choose Copy link to post, paste the link into the box above and press Download.
Do I need to log in to LinkedIn?
No. GrabThatVideo only works with public posts, so no LinkedIn account or login is needed.
Can I download LinkedIn Learning videos?
No. LinkedIn Learning courses are paid, protected content and are not supported.
Can I save a LinkedIn video to post on my own profile?
Only if you made the video or have the creator's permission. Reposting someone else's video as your own breaks LinkedIn's rules and the creator's copyright.
Is GrabThatVideo free?
Yes. GrabThatVideo is free, with no sign-up and no app to install. To keep it fast for everyone, each visitor can fetch about 15 videos per minute.
Do you store the videos I download?
No. GrabThatVideo keeps each prepared file only until you save it and deletes it automatically after 30 minutes. It does not keep a history of the links you paste.
Where does the downloaded video go on my phone?
On Android, the MP4 goes to the Downloads folder and appears in the Gallery or Files app. On iPhone, Safari saves it to Files → Downloads; tap the video, then Share → Save Video to move it into Photos.
Is GrabThatVideo safe to use?
GrabThatVideo runs in your browser, so there is no app or extension to install and no account to create. The file you receive is a plain MP4 video, not a program.
Can I download private videos?
No. GrabThatVideo only works with public posts. If a video is private, in a closed group, or needs a login to watch, it can't be downloaded.
Is it legal to download these videos?
Downloading for personal, offline viewing is generally fine, but the video still belongs to its creator. Don't re-upload or use someone else's content commercially without their permission.
